Victorian Solar in Schools Professional Learning workshop – Primary
Presented by Glenn Davidson of Planet Savers Australia and Julie Harris of Sustainability Victoria this workshop is designed to give teachers an introduction to the use of Solar and Renewable Technologies as an exciting and rich theme for curriculum development.
The workshop session will include:
P An Introduction the Victorian Solar in Schools teaching and learning materials (Primary) project
P How solar panels work – “PV’s for Dummies”
P Some practical simple and quick green house gas and solar convection science based tasks
P A walk through the Unit Planners and student tasks for levels 1- 4
P Synergies and alignment with VELS and PoLT
